One of Africa’s most secretive and elusive big cats, the leopard knows how to move like a shadow.

 

Leopards are masters of stealth, able to remain unseen even by the keenest of eyes. Indeed, it took eight months of me living in the bush to have my first proper encounter with one.

 

I wanted to create a print that was slightly more abstract, something that lay outside the realms of realistic wildlife photography, but something that would illustrate the beauty and rawness of this incredible animal.
