In the summer of 2020, I spent two months working with Asilia Africa, where my partner George and I created multi-media content to help encourage tourists back to the African bush after the pandemic put a halt to international travel.
During my stay, I got to know many of the inspiring members of staff who work in the Asilia camps. I was humbled to sit down and chat to them and their fascinating stories resulted in the People of Asilia blog. I wanted guests to see the personal side of the staff members, not just their professional side and by sitting down for a quick cup of tea, I unearthed some incredible stories, including Max's achievement of scaling Mount Kilimanjaro TEN times!
